Working with children
Children who might benefit from Craniosacral Therapy include:
Those who suffer from
• Ear infections
• Sinus problems
• Behavioural problems
• Dyslexia and Dyspraxia
As children get older they generally grow out of most of the crying, difficulty in sleeping and feeding etc that they may have experienced as a baby. However, if the retained moulding is not treated to help it release they may begin to suffer secondary effects. The most common include ear infections, sinus problems, behavioural problems and hyperactivity, learning difficulties including dyslexia and dyspraxia, headaches, asthma and dental development problems.
Craniosacral therapy works with the bones of the skull, the membranes and venous drainage to try and free up this retained moulding thus reducing some of the effects and symptoms.
It is recommended that children have regular treatments through the different developmental stages of their lives or after a bump to the head or body.
